T O P I C R E V I E WRonpurI need the STS-118 crew litho portrait that NASA used to send out free back when they still had a budget to do this. This is the last photo I need to complete my collection I started back in 1988.RonpurThanks to everyone who emailed me with advice on how to find this, the last of my needed crew photos! I found one on eBay. My collection is now complete! Unless there turns out to be a crew photo for STS-94!Mike DixonDon't worry... it doesn't exist.MercurypgmNo crew litho exists for STS-94 but in order to keep my signed collection intact I had some canceled for the relaunch at the KSC PO. It made sense to me. You might want to fill that hole with an STS-94 cover as those were made with the difference being a blue vs red cachet and of course a different flight number. Not sure if you are interested in lithos produced for flights that had a crew change. STS-118 is a good example as Drew replaced Anderson who flew on STS-117. Lithos for both exist and I have the flown and the non flown crew lithos signed. Also, you might have fun looking for a 62-A which would have been the first flight from Vandenberg (Bob Crippen was the commander) but was canceled after the explosion to 51-L. It does exist as I have a signed one. Happy Hunting...Mike DixonHave sent you an email regarding those STS-118 crews. RonpurThanks for that info. I just checked and my STS-117 does not have Anderson. Was there a litho with him added? Edit: I found a photo of the crew with Anderson, but did they print a litho?I was thinking of printing an STS-95 with the different crew patch just to put in my binder.MSSSTS-117 litho without Anderson has no. Worth pursuing the 117 as they appear on eBay quite often.RonpurOK, so I am not done yet!! LOLMike DixonBy the way, I took that subject regarding STS-118 x 2 versions offline with Richard (Mercurypgm). We've both come to the conclusion that only one litho exists.Mike DixonIt might be time to record those other lesser known / harder to find lithos for crews where the manifest changed. Some are incredibly rare, others less so.STS 51E / 101 / 114 / 117 / 121 / 133Hart SastrowardoyoA crew litho did exist for 62A, as I'm recalling a long ago article. Mullane sells a crew photo of same.I believe crew lithos exist for 61E (my local library used to have one!); but while crew photos were taken of 61F and 61G, were lithos ever made of them? And I believe the 61H sans payload specialists is of 61H, since a gag version of that photo does exist.Mike DixonI've seen legit glossies for 62A and 61E but never lithos.
