While it was done about 25 years ago, apparently it only hit the store shelves late last year, or early this year. Naturally it sold out.I have never heard of, "Naval Aviation." I would rank the Calle print and Naval Aviation on the Moon rarer, with Naval Aviation in Space close behind. The Lindbergh print is too "new" to know what type of frequency it will be resold.</TD></TR><TR bgcolor="#494949"><TD valign=top>Scott</TD><TD>He also signed the 1982 "Great Moments in Aviation History" litho. It is a limited edition of 1100 and is pencil signed by Armstrong and 16 others, including Chuck Yeager, Jimmy Doolittle, Curtis LeMay, Joe Foss, Paul Tibbets, etc. It is not as well known as the others as for some reason it rarely comes up for sale. I have one and I was going to sell it but my wife didn't want me to because she loves the image! This made me wonder just how many of these commercial signings were done by Mr. Armstrong. He said he definitly recalls doing it with Jim McDivitt, but seemed puzzled that I had found one out there. Also mentioned he's still in touch with the group. It depicts an Olympic runner crossing the finish line, with mountains in the background.The lithograph is also signed by Lee Iacocca, Walter Cronkite, Sir Edmund Hillary, Gordie Howe, Hank Aaron and Muhammad Ali. It is numbered to 100, and was produced to benefit a youth sports charity, but apparently due to numerous obstacles, it never got off the ground.Heritage Auctions has had one per month in their sports auctions since January 2012, and prices have ranged from $1,900 to $2,800.</TD></TR><TR bgcolor="#494949"><TD valign=top>liftoff1</TD><TD>This "Neil Armstrong's First Flight" was seen on eBay (140843048908). He laughed, told a couple of stories about the group, and then said "I remember that presentation... if the conquistadores asked you to do something, well, you did it!"By the way, anybody ever seen another one of these? I have no idea what it might go for...</TD></TR><TR bgcolor="#494949"><TD valign=top>SpaceSteve</TD><TD>I was just reminded of the 1982 Gathering of Eagles lithograph that Neil Armstrong signed.From 1982-2011, The US Air Force Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell AFB Alabama commissioned lithographs for that year's class. The first litho in 1982 included Neil Armstrong, as well as Jimmy Doolittle, Pete Knight and Chuck Yeager, among several others.</TD></TR><TR bgcolor="#333333"><TD valign=top>albatron</TD><TD>He signed some X-15 pieces and Bell X-1B items for the Flight Test Historical Foundation some years back.
