T O P I C R E V I E WBeamer0316Did anyone go see Wally in Ohio? John K. RochesterWelcome to CollectSpace Brandon.. I was the guy right next to you watching you flirt with the Mall manager all morning.WehaveliftoffI didn't arrive until after he took a 1/2hr break. I heard he arrived 1/2 hr late so he did a two hour signing instead of three. At least three people stated they went through the line three times, I was happy with just once. Ed Buckbee was there too and signed other things besides the book which he had nothing to do with. The Eastwood Mall had a very nice Space display as well. Hats off to them. A NEW site honoring the place that Neil Armstrong first flew at six years of age literallyjust a couple of miles from there in Warren, Ohio, had just recently been opened free to the public. It's still a work in progress, but they had a good facsimile of the Lunar module which took 3000 man hours to assemble(using original blueprints), courtesy of the closeby GM Lordstown plant. It was over a mock concrete lunar surface with "lunar" footprints, and a few plaques surrounded by a black fence. I didn't bring a camera with me but shall return this summer I hope for your viewing, and more of an update on the $400,000 work-in-progress which is seeking donations for specific items.
