Delaware North, the contractor has just started a bus tour titled "Cape Canaveral: Then and Now". The 2 hour plus bus tour takes visitors to Pad 14 - Mercury; Pad 13 - Atlas; Pad 19 - Gemini and Titan; and pad 34 Apollo 1 fire. The tour is $10 in addition to the $24 regular admission. Hope that helps!Odyessy85Thanks so much tommy for the info.AndrewOPOSThere is also an organization called the Apollo One Memorial Foundation that does work around Pad 34. I have been down there myself and done some cleanup work with them. Everyone owes it to themselves to try to make a trip there. Very haunting. The location was recently featured in the film "Armegeddon". One of the gentlemen that occaisionally give tours on the "now and then" circuit, John Johnson, is very active in the A1MF and was featured in the movie as the pad leader. (actually, not a good technical scene, I doubt two crews would ride the same gantry up to both of their shuttles!!!)Tom
