T O P I C R E V I E Wspaced outThere's a set of Apollo-era Autopen signatures on eBay here which shows some nice examples of what happens when things go wrong. The Eisele autograph shows something I wasn't sure about previously - which is how the pen moves between strokes. For some reason in this example the pen failed to lift off the paper between strokes therefore showing the track taken between each element, including to the dot to the lower right of the middle initial. The Schirra signature shows what happens when everything goes wrong. I can only assume the poster came loose under the pen and got pushed around in every direction. Definitely the most extreme example I've seen to-date.ScottVery interesting Chris. Thanks for sharing these.
