T O P I C R E V I E WhlbjrFlight International reports today about adding power and height to the Ares V to allow for growth. It also talks about firing the rockets at an angle on the launch pad as the flame trench on 39A & B aren't wide enough for the Ares V design. Mr MeekYikes.KSC, JSC, and the USSRC better start saving their pennies now if they want to display one of these monsters.(Can't wait to see one of these fly!)LCDR Scott SchneeweisInteresting they are considering HTPB solution in lew of conventional outboard solids - leaves open the possibility of a hybrid N2O restartable (would be great to see on the Ares I first stage as well)...------------------Scott Schneeweishttp://www.SPACEAHOLIC.com/hlbjrHow about the references to the height of the Ares V starting to approach the limit of the high bay doors of the VAB?! I rue the day I missed seeing a Saturn V fly but watching this beast fly may be almost as good. This rocket isn't getting sized down, it's actually growing!Harvey Brown
