T O P I C R E V I E WDavidHFor the Mac users in the audience, I've put together an iCal calendar featuring upcoming aerospace events. For those not using Macs, you have my sympathies. The calendar can be subscribed to here:webcal://icalx.com/public/davidhitt/Aerospace32Events.icsA few notes:Any event for which I could not yet find the exact time, I marked as an all-day event, but I will add the times as I find them. This is very much a work in progress, and included only those events that I have handy right now. This is where I need help: If you know of an event that's not included, please let me know, and I'll add it. (Our friends abroad will note that it's NASA-centric, which I would love to remedy.)I included URLs for each event, in case you're not familiar with a particular one. In some cases, it was simply the best URL I could find, and there may be room to improve it.Needless to say, all dates are subject to change, and when they do, I'll change them. I'm listing NET dates as launch dates for the purposes of the calendar. As any regular iCal user knows, there's no charge for using the calendar, but I would appreciate it if you let me know if you do use it and like it.The following events are in the original version of the calendar:August 2--Messenger launchAugust 3--Expedition 9 EVASept. 8 --Genesis Sample ReturnOctober 7--SWIFT launchOctober 9--Expedition 10 launchOctober 18--DART launchOctober 19--Expedition 9 landingDecember 1--GOES-N launchDecember 25--Huygens Probe ReleaseDecember 30--Deep Impact launchJanuary 14--Huygens Titan DescentJanuary 29--Cloudsat launchFebruary 11--NOAA-N launchMarch 6--STS-114 launchAugust 10--Mars Reconnaisance Orbiter launch------------------ http://www.hatbag.net/blog.html "America's challenge of today has forged man's destiny of tomorrow." - Commander Eugene Cernan, Apollo 17 Mission, 11 December 1972DavidHOh--forgot to mention--Times listed are for the Central time zone. And since I posted that yesterday, I've included the time for the Exp. 9 EVA next week, and added the Aug. 5 unveiling of Wild Fire, the Aug. 12 Perseids meteor shower peak, and the Sept. 29 launch of SpaceShipOne. Also, I believe non-Mac users can view the calendar online at: http://www.icalx.com/html/davidhitt/month.php?cal=Aerospace32Events ------------------ http://www.hatbag.net/blog.html "America's challenge of today has forged man's destiny of tomorrow." - Commander Eugene Cernan, Apollo 17 Mission, 11 December 1972
