The SPACE 3.0 Foundation is currently funding a project that hopes to digitize complete sets of commercially-produced space-related magazines and newsletters. The resulting PDFs will be added to the Space Business & Commerce Archive special collection for access by current and future researchers. [i]In total, we have identified 72 publications (although there are likely more). Among the 14 completed with high-resolution scans and/or have physical copies are: Countdown, Crosslink, Final Frontier, Journal of Practical Applications of Space, Quest, Space Business & Finance, Space Journal, and Space World (1960-1988). We are currently seeking issues of the following: Space Commerce Bulletin, Commercial Space, Imaging Notes, Iridium Magazine, Low-g, Satellite Finance, Satellite News (newsletter), Space Business News (newsletter), and Space Station News (newsletter). Donations are tax-deductible. Anyone interested or who have questions should contact Scott Sacknoff at [email protected]. | |
