After a long delay, the Astro Info Service website has been updated with a new design. We have only posted the initial pages to activate the new format. Further pages will be added over the coming weeks.

The latest production available though the site is our 2016 calendar celebrating 50 years of Rendezvous and Docking.

Finally, after a long delay, we have posted the newly designed AIS website. It is still a work in progress with more pages to add. We hope you find it of interest and useful as we continue to expand the content in the coming months.

The Astro Info Service (AIS) website has recently been re-launched.

According to Dave Shayler, the site is still a work in progress, but they have begun by issuing new items in support of the "Skylab@50" theme, with other material to follow shortly.

It is with sadness that I have to tell you about the passing of my mother, Jean Shayler, 15 September in her 97th year.

Mom was involved with AIS for over 40 years and before its creation in 1982, and was a strong supporter of my work to the extent of preparing my annual accounts by hand each year until 2024, admin and clerical work accompanying me on dozens of school presentations across the Midlands and beyond, helping out at science fairs and several of the Autographica shows that most people will remember her from.

My deepest condolences Dave. I met your mum at Autographica over several years. A lovely lady.

My condolences. It is a wonderful thing that you and your mother were able to work together on your passion for space. Enjoy those memories.
