Among my other hobbies I'm also a huge baseball card and memorabelia collector, and I belong to a very active private sportscard message board that has about 130 members. That board, and others like it in the hobby, serves many of the same purposes as CS does, although I have no idea how many members actively "belong" to the CS posting community.In any event, we use our sportscard board to arrange events for members,at The National, which is the biggest annual bash for that hobby and was held ten days ago in Anaheim, and will be in Cleveland next year. In my mind, the annual UACC show is this hobby's equal to the National, and I was wondering just who from CS will be attending so perhaps we can meet up in some semi-organized fashion. Since I'm a relatively new member (only a year) maybe I'm a little naive to ask who from here will be going next week because perhaps a majority of the CS fraternity will be there anyway! I really don't know many of the CS "personalities" but would like to rectify that situation. In any event, I'll be there from Friday afternoon to Sunday late morning, and my mug shot is on my website, www.dahlgrensupervisor.com I'll be the tall guy carrying either a flight helmet and/or a Nick Proach model part. Steve, I will be there as a vendor. I will have a few GiJoe mercury astronauts, unsigned major league baseballs, fisher space pens with a clear cover and 3d moon base(cover is great for signatures), original Ed Mitchell artwork, 16*20 glossy prints of the moon, earth, and rockets, space helmets great for signatures, 1 moon globe, spaceshot cards, 1 Gijoe spacecapsule, and a few other items. Will be bringing my family this year. We are flying in Thursday and staying till the following Wednesday. Please stop by and say high. My mom will probably be watching the table while I'll be getting signatures.
If you or anybody else wants to trade or get a few of my very limited items before the show, call me at 408 309 1095. A group of us are meeting sometime on Friday. Vince

My father and I have been to 5 of these events and we will be there on Friday. I would like to have a mini-swap meet on Friday evening at 8pm in the lobby of the hotel. Even if we don't get many to work trades- we always enjoy sitting around and talking space stuff.

I'll be there Thurs. eve through Sun. morning. My would-be companion now has work commitments that she may not be able to get out of, though, which is kind of disappointing. She was really looking forward to meeting Tereshkova. |

I'll be arriving noon on Saturday and leaving Sunday AM (too short). I'm looking forward tothe banquest (I am at Bruce McCandless' table).Anyone interested in trading covres. autos. lithos etc.-- we'll be meeting at the hotel bar at 4 p.m. on Saturday. David |

Miranda and I are headed out this morning. We will spend the night with my folks near Dallas then we travel on to Houston. We plan on visiting the Lone Star Flight Museum, the Johnson Space Center, and Robert's Rocket Town. We will be in San Antonio Friday morning. We will spend both days at the St. Anthony's then we drive across town to another hotel. We will spend Monday at Sea World then head home Tuesday. We will spend Tuesday evening in Ardmore with my brother then we might stop at the Omni Plex and the Oklahoma City Zoo before finally getting home late Wednesday evening. If I am getting something signed for you it will probably go out in the mail that Thursday morning. Mike Myer
