Progress MS-34 cargo craft launches to resupply space stationRoscosmos' Progress MS-34 (95P) spacecraft is safely in orbit and headed to the International Space Station following its launch on Saturday (April 25) at 6:21 p.m. EDT (2221 GMT or 3:21 a.m. local time on April 26) atop a Soyuz 2-1a rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
The spacecraft is scheduled to dock autonomously at 8 p.m. EDT on Monday (April 27) to the aft port of the space station's Zvezda module.
Progress MS-34 is delivering about three tons of food, fuel, and supplies for the Expedition 74 crew.
