cS member and contributing writer Rick Houston recently devoted a segment of his "Spun Out And Half Turned Over" podcast to STS-127 (and newly-assigned STS-335) astronaut Doug Hurley's interest in NASCAR, including audio from Rick's interviews with Hurley.
Doug talks about his interest, but also actually watching one of the races on board the ISS and being at the controls of Endeavour during the ISS fly-around.
The segment devoted to Hurley begins at the 22:58 mark:
