I don't actually collect space patches but have acquired some nice ones through the years. Here are two that I may put on eBay or sell directly, but would first appreciate some expert opinions on their value and desirability.

The Greg Jarvis/Hughes patch is 4 inches and the Israel Space Agency/Ilan Ramon patch is 3.25 inches. The Jarvis patch was issued for STS-51L and the ISA patch at the time of STS-107.

Any estimate of each one's value would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have sufficient material for both STS-51L (Jarvis) and STS-107 (Ramon) that I am very grateful for, but as I mentioned, I don't actually collect space patches and decided to give those who do collect patches the opportunity to acquire these special space shuttle patches.

They've been in my collection for many years and now may be the time to move them on to the right collector(s). But first would like to have an accurate estimate of their value.

One of the original Hughes patches sold on eBay last month for $50. Lunar Legacies sold one for $60 in 2023 and another for $40 in 2024.

Per Ken (Havekotte) by way an earlier topic, the Israel Space Agency patch is not an official patch, but a souvenir invented/made by Cape Kennedy Medals based on a decal.

Even so, two uncut, only-partially finished patches sold at Heritage in 2016 for $74.

Thanks, Robert. I now have accurate information on the patches and if anyone is interested, can sell them for a fair price for both buyer and seller.

I had always wondered about the ISA patch, as it is fairly thin and smaller than an official patch. Interesting and not surprising that it came from the Cape Kennedy Medals shop.

All times are CT (US)
