Does anyone have any experience or knowledge regarding selling or buying SpaceX hardware from a legal aspect? I have a manifold assembly and I'm just investigating if selling it would be an issue. I'm assuming something like that probably falls under ITAR, but otherwise not sure of any other implications something like that might bring. |

The concern would be how the hardware was obtained; specifically, how was it released from SpaceX property and what provenance do you have to support that?ITAR is an issue as well, but that is easily addressed by only selling to U.S. citizens within the country. |

Robert, thanks for your advice on this topic, I more or less had the same thoughts too. The only SpaceX items I've ever seen at market are carefully controlled memorabilia items like coins, medals, patches, etc., occasional small wreckage. Probably be a no-go on selling this for now. I'll send you a couple pics of the item with more info in case you're curious. | |
