The Museum of Worcester, the EcoTarium, Clark University and Worcester Polytechnic Institute have announced a slate of events commemorating the centennial of Robert Goddard's first liquid-fueled rocket launch.
The events include a new exhibit about Goddard at the Museum of Worcester, a gathering at the original launch site, seminars at the universities and a celebration of Goddard's legacy at the Hanover Theater.
The Goddard house, which is not regularly open to the public, will also host tours as part of the centennial.

Important notice:
Due to a severe weather alert for Monday, March 16, the launch celebration has been moved up two days.
The events that had been scheduled for Monday have now been rescheduled for Saturday (March 14), including the launch site event with astronaut Al Sacco.
