I vaguely knew about the Kettering Boys' School role in early space tracking of Soviet spacecraft and so I recently bought the book by Desmond Welch entitled "Geoff Perry and the Kettering Group." It is a fascinating insight into 1960s geopolitics and the Space Race from an unusual perspective — I would highly recommend it... but this isn't a book review.

Having read the book, I have been searching for any astrophilatelic cover that connects with the story, and have uncovered (pun!) just one to date.

It is a UK FDC cover for one of the very few set of stamps featuring space related topics released during Queen Elizabeth II's reign. They are on an envelope with a "Kettering Boys' School space trackers" limited edition cacheted envelope, with a special postmark cancellation of Northants, Kettering Boys School.

Does anyone have any cacheted covers from the era in question postmarked Kettering? Do they exist? If so please post an image.
