This observatory will also be able to block starlight to directly see exoplanets and planet-forming disks, complete a statistical census of planetary systems in our galaxy, and settle essential questions in the areas of dark energy, exoplanets, and infrared astrophysics.

The NASA exchange stores have yet to stock an embroidered patch. There is a UK-based company offering one (Patchion), but it is unclear if is an official version.

Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope Commemorative Patch

This patch commemorates the Roman Telescope's incredible field of view by displaying its 18 detector arrangement of the Wide Field Instrument with the Eagle Nebula reflecting in them. Around the sensor are the prime contractors and operators.

Around the inner circle are depicted the solar-centric Lagrange points, with L2, Roman Telescope's final destination at the top beyond the Earth (green). The outline of the patch matches the silhouette of the telescope and sunshield.

Patch will be 5" tall and feature both dye-sublimation and embroidery.

You can pre-order the patch from Retrorocket Emblems for delivery in October.
