Taylor Hose, Artemis II Closeout Crew Lead, posted a photo on social media revealing the team's patch on his coveralls.Separately, I am told that Hose worked with Tim Gagnon to design the patch. |

In February 2024, I was contacted by Taylor Hose, who requested I help the Artemis closeout crew, improve the design they had proposed for their team patch. We decided early on that like the shuttle closeout crew we would make the spacecraft hatch the focus of the patch. Also, like their predecessor's, the patch background would be white as a nod to the White Room. Description: The shape of the emblem outlines the Orion spacecraft. The center of the design is the hatch illustration I drew by hand based on photos they supplied. The hatch overlays the emblem of the Artemis Program. The four stars represent a four-member crew. |

Noticed in the recovery ship ball cap photo of Reid Wiseman and Jeremy Hansen that each has a patch slipped in the clear wrist pouches. Reid has Astronaut Andre Owens astronaut wings and Jeremy has Bill Owens closeout crew. Both took part in the closeout. Jeremy has another item in his left pouch but can't make out what it is. Edit: So it appears what’s in the left pouch refers to a memory card, probably for one of the cameras. |

You can see the Bill Owens patch in this photo from inside Integrity. It is visible affixed in the upper left corner. |
