This Kodak '71 "Light Years Ahead" Apollo Lion Brothers patch set was on eBay for a while, I finally made an offer because of its uniqueness. It's a nice presentation of common Lion Brothers patches, but it is a little odd on how it treated Apollo 15: it lacks a description and omitted the slots cut to mount it. It comes in a nice folder with a faux velvet texture. This is the only example of this kind I've seen myself.

That is quite nice. With regards to Apollo 15, maybe the "Kodak'71" is a clue. Maybe this set was issued in 1971 after or around the time of Apollo 14 and the later mission patches and page were a supplement sent later, at or around the time of Apollo 17. That could explain why there is no slot/text for Apollo 15. | |
