The Escape and Plasma Acceleration and Dynamics Explorers, or ESCAPADE, mission comprises twin Rocket Lab Photon spacecraft that will orbit around Mars to understand the structure, composition, variability, and dynamics of the planet's unique hybrid magnetosphere.

The mission will launch on the first flight of Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket.

Blue Origin's patch for the NG-2 launch is available from its online shop.
The patch depicts the vehicle for New Glenn’s second mission, NG-2, ascending towards Mars for the ESCAPADE mission, with mach diamonds visible in the rocket flame. Positioned at the top center are the two NASA ESCAPADE satellites. On the left side of the rocket, a small New Glenn booster is shown in black, representing the objective of reusability. The orange hues in the patch symbolizes Mars.
