This is, I believe, the first example of a piece of the Artemis II spacecraft on public display. From The World Famous IBar, a military-only aviator pub established in 1933 in Building I on Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island in Coronado, California, the panel was dedicated by the crew to the Navy, noting it was aboard Artemis II when it flew to the moon and back.
It is not clear where exactly this panel was attached.
The NASA crew came [April 15, 2026] to gift a piece of Artemis to the I-Bar! They wrote their names and it was hung in the perfect spot in The World Famous IBar.
