Bremont release
Supernova

The newest Bremont universe, and the furthest yet. The Supernova is set to become the first British watch to reach the Moon, integrated into the Astrolab FLIP rover as part of Moon Mission I. Space called for a design unlike anything in the collection: angular, geometric, luminous. This is where the journey has always been heading.

Housed in a 41mm case crafted from high-grade 904L stainless steel, the watch features a complex multi-part construction with a DLC-coated case middle and a multi-faceted black ceramic bezel. The geometric architecture and contrasting brushed and polished surfaces create a distinctive, technical aesthetic, while maintaining durability and corrosion resistance.

The dial is defined by a three-dimensional black galvanic structure, inspired by spacecraft solar arrays. A perforated grid pattern sits above a full Super-LumiNova® layer, delivering strong low-light performance with a blue emission. Applied indexes and black gold hands, also filled with Super-LumiNova®, ensure clarity and legibility, while sub-dials at 3 and 9 o’clock introduce depth with matching geometric detailing. A date display at 6 o’clock and tachymeter scale on the dial ring complete the layout.

At its core is the chronometer-rated BC77 automatic movement, offering a 62-hour power reserve and visible through the exhibition case back. The integrated bracelet ($8,250) or rubber strap ($8,000) design provides a seamless transition from case to wrist, both equipped with quick-release functionality for versatility.

Positioned at the forefront of Bremont’s collection, the Supernova Chronograph brings together modern materials, technical construction and a bold, architectural design language.

Also available as a limited edition Tourbillon with a skeletonised dial ($51,950).

Interesting looking watch.

I'm not sure if Bremont is aware of it, but one of their Altitude military squadron watches is currently being worn on the ISS by Jack Hathaway. Maybe the first Bremont in space?

Hathaways's Bremont has the VFA-136 squadron logo with a F/A-18E Hornet planform.

All times are CT (US)
