A reader shared the following photos in hopes of someone recognizing their use. They were found in a museum's storage area in American Samoa.

The reader thought it might be associated with the goodwill moon rock samples gifted to the people of American Samoa, but that does not appear to be the case.

Do you recognize the box, its use or have any ideas?

The container porting and screens suggest retention of live biological specimens (for study).

All times are CT (US)
