November 15, 2013 is the 25th anniversary of the first and only flight of the Soviet space shuttle Buran ("Snowstorm").I decided that called for a special patch, so I decided to design and produce one; here is the result: 
design © LucreationThe patch shows the pre-dawn launch of the Energia-Buran complex; the name of the spaceship in the font that was used on its fuselage and the date of the launch. In the sky, two large stars and five smaller ones depict the 25 years since the event. The double red border represent the two orbits Buran flew around Earth before returning to the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The patch is 10 cm in diameter. |

I LOVE IT!Great design, been looking for a patch to frame with my piece of tile from the flown orbiter, I think I need one of these for that... |

THAT is an awesome looking patch. When I look back at some of the lackluster shuttle mission patches from years past, I think some of the forum members here should have been put on a contract with NASA. |
