Gagnon said when he learned the Kennedy Space Center Fire Department was about to get an artifact from Ground Zero, he wanted to help. So he put his artistic skills to work to design images for the department to use as it prepared to place the beam in a permanent place of honor. "It'll serve as a continuous reminder of the sacrifices firefighters make," firefighter Tom Van Horn said.[/i]
