Underneath is the Delta 7 symbol, designed by artist Bill Coukoulis and used with his permission, that would have been painted on Deke's Mercury spacecraft. []Flying from behind the Delta 7 symbol is his Formula One racing plane, the Stinger. []Along the bottom are the symbols of the programs he helped manage: Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, Shuttle, and finally Space Services Inc.
