[i]The lunar eclipse on April 25 was described by astrophotographer Gadi Eidelheit as "the greatest, slightest eclipse I ever saw!" The brief and small eclipse saw just 1.47% of the lunar limb nicked by the dark umbra or shadow from the Earth. It was visible from eastern Europe and Africa across the Middle East eastward to southeast Asia and western Australia. Here are a few more shots, including a serendipitous shot of an airplane flying through the eclipse![/i]
