Dragon undocks from space station SpaceX's CRS-24 cargo Dragon spacecraft undocked from the International Space Station's Harmony module on Sunday (Jan. 23) at 10:40 a.m. EST (1540 GMT). The Dragon then fired its thrusters to move a safe distance from the space station. SpaceX flight controllers in Hawthorne, California will command a deorbit burn on Monday (Jan. 24). After re-entering Earth’s atmosphere, the spacecraft will follow an "ascending node" (southwest-to-northeast) descent to a parachute-assisted splashdown at about 4:05 p.m. EST (2105 GMT), off the coast of Florida, south of Panama City.
