Boeing CST-100 commercial crew patchThe Boeing CST-100 was designed as part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program. In September 2014, Boeing was selected to build the CST-100 to fly astronaut crews to the International Space Station. The CST-100 is designed to transport up to seven passengers or a mix of crew and cargo to low-Earth orbit destinations, including the planned Bigelow Aerospace space station. The first uncrewed CST-100 flight is planned for 2017, with the first crewed flight to the International Space Station that same year. Boeing officials debuted this emblem design at a Jan. 26, 2015 press conference about the status of the CST-100. |

At last! Boeing employees wearing polo shirts with that design embroidered on them, featured in a CNBC item on the CST-100 last year.Hope the patch makes it to public release! |

I contacted Boeing to see how people can purchase these patches. I first contacted the Boeing Store (there's a few actual brick and mortar versions here in the Seattle area in addition to their online store) about the patches. They don't carry them but deferred me to their Corporate Sales office. Unfortunately, the only purchase option is to purchase them in 50 or 100 patch lots that they'll order on your behalf from their supplier. |

Spacepatches.nl could do an order of 50, which would mean a EUR 9.50 cost, including shipping. |

It took quite a while, but I received approval for a 'group buy' of the patches from Boeing and the order has been confirmed. Production will take a couple of weeks and 'special logistics' should have the patches available late June.To cover the costs, we will have to up the price a little bit because of the free-fall the Euro has been experiencing against the Dollar; $10 including shipping each (a 50c increase). |

The price will be €10 (not 10 dollars). |

What is the status of the patch, are they available for purchase? I know the last word they would possibly be available was late last month (June 2015). Thanks! |

The production apparently took longer than Boeing anticipated. The good news is that the patches arrived in the Netherlands; I expect Jacques can start processing orders by next week. Thanks for your patience, everyone! |

Okay, Thursday this week I will send out an email to all collectors that are on our spacepatches.nl patch list for the CST-100 patch. Patches will be sold on first come base. Only one patch per order right now (if I have left overs I will post it here, and you can buy a second patch). I want every collector to have a chance at this patch. If you are not on our email list, and want to be on it because you want this patch, send an email before Wednesday to mail@spacepatches.nl to be included on the list. Please do not ask for the patch now. After I have sent the mail on Thursday orders will be taken. Thanks for your patience and thank you Boeing for making this possible for us collectors. |

I have to inform you all that the 50 CST-100 patches we got from Boeing are now all sold to you, the collectors. So please do not send any more money for this patch to me, because I then have to return it to you.Thank you all for ordering this patch. |
