Four of the Mercury astronauts were juniors (had the same name as their father): - Leroy Gordon Cooper Jr.
- John Herschel Glenn Jr.
- Walter Marty Schirra Jr.
- Alan Bartlett Shepard Jr.
I have an item where all four added Jr. to their signatures. Usually only Shepard added Jr. |
