That’s a great photo of Haise and Engle together — presumably taken in the 60s. And by 1976 they would both be assigned as the first pilots to fly the space shuttle Enterprise! |

The first two pictures with Fred Haise remind me of "Spot the Difference" competitions in newspapers and magazines. They aren't the same picture, but are clearly taken at the same time, obviously as part of a set of pictures. |

The order they are standing in the photo almost matches their future flight assignments: Apollo 13, 14, 16, 15 and (might have been) 17. |
