STS-79 returned to Earth in 1996 with a Russian spacesuit stowed in the SPACEHAB module. It was Orlan-DMA suit number 18 with blue stripes.
STS-79 mission specialist Carl Walz straps down a stowed Russian Orlan space suit in the Spacehab module. The suit is to be returned to the manufacturer for repairs and then to the Johnson Space Center for use in training. This is the first time the Russians have been able to return one of their space suits to Earth for repair.

Here is another view of the stowed Russian spacesuit.
View of various stowage bags packed in their respective racks in the Spacehab module of the STS-79 shuttle Atlantis. The blue tags on the bags signify that they are items transferred from the Mir space station to the Atlantis.

Interesting as 1996 was the last year of using the Orlan-DMA, which got replaced by the newer Orlan-M (1997-2009).
Perhaps this suit went to the National Air and Space Museum? Would be great for its 50th anniversary at the current Washington D.C. location. The Orlan EVA space suit will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year in 2027!

It was turned over immediately to the Russians after removal from the Spacehab module. It was shipped back to Russia. NASA had nothing to do with it as well as any other Russian hardware returned on the shuttle.
