Robert Hanson, who was the radio operator and last surviving crewmember of the "Memphis Belle" passed away this past Saturday.

It is sad to see so many of America's greatest generation are leaving us every day.

:-(

EDIT: To be more accurate, Sgt. Hanson was the last surviving member of the crew that went on the war bond tour.

I was lucky to meet Robert Morgan the year before he passed away. Good guy...sad to see him and his fellow crew members are now gone.
