Okay, this isn't space -- but the same photographer who put together Full Moon, that brilliant remastering of the Apollo photos -- has done the same thing for the history of the American nuclear test program... the images are beautiful and haunting, all at once.

If you ever get to meet Michael, he is a fascinating guy to talk to, with some great stories about working on Full Moon, including working with some of the Apollo astronauts. He's a very accomplished photographer, and told me he was worried about getting pigeonholed as a 'space guy' - that's just one part of his many interests. Hence, his next book is very different.
