I was at a flea market today and saw a McDonell contractor model of MOL. The dealer wanted $50 for it, which I did not have on me, so I had to pass it up.

It was about 10 inches long, with a white body and black Gemini shape at top. There were no details on either, just smooth. There was an USAF decal on the side and McDonell on the base. Condition looked pretty good to me.

So what generally speaking would be a ballpark value for such a model? Thanks for any idea about this. Should I save my pennies, say my prayers and hope he still has it next month? I'm guessing I should or I wouldn't be typing this. Thanks for any sage advice.

I have seen this model go for as low as $150 and as high as $350.

I would love to see it in a cS hands, shoot me an eMail and maybe I can help.

Thanks for the info, and the offer to help. It wasn't so much that I didn't have 50 bucks, but that I didn't have it on me and he was closing up, no time for a bank run. He should be back next month, so I'll see if he still has it. I'll be sure to bring sufficient funds.
