Hello
I recently purchased a Mercury 7 30th anniversary poster signed with Shepard, Glenn and Cooper.I was wondering how difficult it would be to get Schirra and Carpenter to sign.Do they sign multi signed items?I have never had the pleasure of attending one of the shows they have had like Burbank.i will try to catch the nexy show on East coast.Im new to this.Thank you

Hi Brian,
I was lucky enough to be able to attend Burbank this year. I took with me one of Cece Bibby's "Out of this world " notecards. Cece was the Mercury artist who painted the names on the capsules for "Friendship 7", "Aurora 7" and "Sigma 7". Her notecard depicted a composite of her 3 designs, together with facsimilies of the astronauts' signatures. Cece Bibby, Wally Schirra and Scott Carpenter were only too happy to sign this for me (only John Glenn to go now!).
So, there don't appear to be any problems with multiple signing for these guys.

Thought I'd add my two cents on this one. As many of you know, I regularly handle custom signature requests for Wally (as well as a number of other astronauts and related individuals)through Farthest Reaches, and he will indeed add his autograph to multi signed items. There are some situations that involve an "up charge" which are for the most part limited to completion items and special requests.

Speaking of Cece, if anyone is interested in obtaining boxes of her Mercury emblem note cards, I am about to receive a new shippment for the holidays. They are great as gifts, for sending as holiday cards, or even for having autographed. They may be found on my website at the following link:

http://www.farthestreaches.com/originalpages/women_nasa.htm

Though the site shows them at $15, the actual pricing has been adjusted to cover rising costs and is now $16. Please contact me off list if interested in either the cards or for additional questions about custom signing requests for either Wally or Cece.
