I created an exhibit of aerospace design for the 120th anniversary of the Wright Flyer's first flight. It was on display in Santa Paula, California in early 2024.

The 3D walk-through is still online and working, I'd really appreciate feedback, opinions and critiques. I had been working on the design museum concept for a long time and this was a unique opportunity to make it into a real world project.

The space was small, as the budget and production time. One I got the go ahead to opening day I had about three months to make everything you see in the online walk through which matches what was displayed. Even the QR codes will work on a big screen.

This exhibit was more of a prototype to see what worked and what didn't, especially post-covid, so no VR goggles.

Everything is available for sale maybe trade or lend. Health problems will make it hard to redo but there's the 120th anniversary of Lindberg's flight next year so who knows.

I have the Vanguard 1 prototype that uses tough non-PLA plastic for its body. This is as accurate as the metal version but more affordable.

I'm putting a PDF together of a whole bunch of models from Topping desktops to a NASA/MSFC 1/96th SV that I have been restoring (may not finish) that will be up for sale.

All funds going to be used to finish my full cutaway legacy model, the 1/8th X-15 for the National Air and Space Museum in D.C. and a X-15A-2 for Wright-Patt, both to be donated.

For the tour, click on the 3D arrow icon. It will take you on an automatic tour, which you can stop by clicking on the squiggly line icon at the bottom of the screen and navigating with your keyboard.

All times are CT (US)
