In early 2011, shuttle astronaut Jon McBride, who was the director of astronaut appearances at the the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, asked me to create a special poster for an astronaut Corvette parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of human spaceflight.

In appreciation, he presented me with a poster signed be the astronauts who participated. He included a signed "Letter of Authenticity" along with the poster. That letter is included.

The text of the letter:

This is to certify that the below listed individuals did sign (in my presence) the Astronaut Corvette Parade Poster # 19 of 40. All signatures did ride in the parade (except for Fred Gregory, who had pre-signed the posters, but did not make the parade) that was conducted on May, 7, 2011 in Cocoa Beach, Florida to commemorate 50 Years of American Manned Space Flight.

Parade "blasted off' at 0934 (Alan Shepard's launch time on May 5, 1961).
