"In Flight" Limited Edition Print (sold out from the publisher)Description adapted from Novaspace Galleries: This 1992 print, autographed by Alan Bean, recalls one of the highlights of the Apollo era, Alan Shepard's famous Apollo 14 lunar golf shot. Seen from the viewpoint of the ball, which traveled "miles and miles and miles", this was the first Alan Bean print to be co-signed by the crew of the mission shown: The late Alan Shepard, Ed Mitchell and the late Stuart Roosa, ONE-FOURTH of the men who walked on the Moon. - Image size: 22.75"w x 23.75"h (unframed)
- Published: 1992.
- Edition Size: 850
- This is print #832
I purchased this framed print in June 2006 at NASA Glenn's Space Memorabilia Show. It has been hanging in my home, out of any direct sunlight since that time. The framing is museum quality. The print and signatures are in mint condition. Two art galleries currently have this un-framed print available for $2,400 and $2,945. I am asking $2,200 for the framed print, complete with Greenwich workshop paperwork. Buyer pays for shipping. ------------------ Jeff |

This is one of my favorite Alan Bean pieces. It has increased in value significantly over the years. Fortunately, I was able to purchase an artist proof some time ago at a reduced price. Very nice to have the entire Apollo 14 crew plus the Alan Bean. |

Thanks for your interest, but I've decided to hang on to it for now. I apologize for not posting that sooner. | |
