T O P I C R E V I E WJim BehlingCape Canaveral Space Force Station (formerly Air Force Station) had/has certain areas designated for badging/security. Can't find official documentation for them. Trying to make a list. The ones you listed are for PACAS cards on KSC in the 80's-00's.You can see the number for Hangar S here. This is Area 55.DhbJim, I'm sure you know about the book "Project Mercury and the Badges of the Mercury Era" by Steven Kovachevich. Although the subject is mainly about the badges the guys had for security clearances, there is mention regarding the security areas and the numbers as well. Great book too! Jim BehlingI have it. It only provided three numbers.Jim BehlingStill need the collective help of this group. I am looking for a copy of AFMTC Reg 205-10 (or maybe AFETR Reg 205-10) Attachment 1. This document would list the area numbers on Cape Canaveral SFS such as Area 55 or 59. They were used for badging in the late 1950's through early 1960's. They are no longer used for badging but some area numbers are still in use for describing the certain areas. I hope some of members can do the same thing for photos in their collections. Also, the last one is a teaser for later
