It would seem to me that a GS orbit would require less energy than a TLI, as my understanding is that the more energy you put into an orbital craft the higher the altitude of the orbit. Obviously the Moon orbits the Earth at a higher altitude than GS, so in theory it should take more energy to loft a mass to the Moon than to GS, which would mean for the same amount of thrust, more mass could be lofted to GS than to the Moon. Thank you!
