I got a YouTube channel where among space-related videos I upload digitized versions of Finley Holidays slides with cassette narration. I digitize both of the mediums and combine them digitally.

I also got all (Expect nr.16) Carl Zeiss Objektive in der Raumfahrt booklets. And scanned all slides, which can be seen here.

I have the idea to narrate each slide in the booklets with the accompanying text for YouTube.

This will be done with a 1960s cassette tape recorder, tape and microphone for the period-correct frequency response and aesthetic. Possibly also with a 1960-70 synth background track.

But I want to do this in English. Unfortunately my booklets are in German. This adds an other layer of possible translation errors and awkwardness. I would really prefer to use Carl Zeiss' English translation.

The English equivalent are "Carl Zeiss FOCUS: On Outer Space."

I would be very thankful if people who have the English booklets could photograph or write down the text for me of each slide. I assume the slides are the same. Then I can use the English text in my videos.

Of course you will get special credit in the video and description!

I don't think this has been done before with the Carl Zeiss slides? So this could be a really neat project if done properly.

I have a bunch of the Zeiss booklets, and six of them in English (and a few in German as well). They aren't numbered, however.

The ones I have are called "Zeiss Lenses in Outer Space" and "Focus from Outer Space."

Happy to help with whatever I can for you, so shoot me an e-mail if you like!

All times are CT (US)
