Back in the 1960s, North American Aviation published a quarterly 32-page glossy-paper magazine entitled "Skyline." I acquired a number of these a few years ago. Despite the slant you would expect from a corporate publication, I found the contemporary accounts of the ongoing work on the Apollo hardware to be rather interesting. There are also a bunch of photos I've never seen anywhere else, showing some nice details of the hardware and the processes employed to produce it and analyze its performance. I thought them interesting enough to share, so I scanned them and have uploaded them to a page where you can peruse them. Enjoy! |
