I just received as a Hanukkah gift a DVD set called "The Best of Cinerama." Included as a bonus feature is a 27 minute documentary from 1968 called "Bridge to Space" that was shot in 70mm Cinerama for NASA. I had never seen this before, and sure enough, it is also available on YouTube through the National Archives.
If you saw this year's documentary "Apollo 11," you will recognize the footage in this film of Joann Morgan inside the LCC. But what is also here in this short documentary is a rare glimpse of the Apollo 7 crew inside the Apollo simulator at KSC during a training run, a ride aboard the TWA NASA Tours Bus featuring narration by one of the tour guides, and the launch of Apollo 6 from April, 1968.

Love those old 1960s era documentaries.
