I just stumbled into Ben Feist's "The Last Mission to the Moon, Apollo 17 Real-Time Mission Experience" website. What a fantastic creation. Why didn't I know of this? It appears his project is/was with only Apollo 17. Wonder if similar sites exist for Apollo 16 and 15. If you've not seen this — check out this site! My question for you all, is if anyone knows of full Apollo EVA video DVDs, if any exist for sale? I used to have all the video on VHS, but no longer. Alternately, what website contains the most complete video of all Apollo surface EVAs? Thanks. |

The full sets of Apollo 15 and Apollo 16 from Spacecraft Films contain all EVAs plus a lot more. Extraordinary. But, but you gotta find them. |

My own issue with Spacecraft Films' DVDs is that I noticed when I bought them (directly from the company, their complete bundle) many of them weren't actually real DVDs but instead DVD-Rs, which means, without getting into technical details, that their longevity are much shorter. I've got already problems on some of them.I would be very happy to buy again real DVD format discs of these. I'm not that old and want to watch them in 20 years... |

I hope someone can direct us to a source. Geez, seems inconceivable the surface eva videos wouldn't be easily available. Just dumbfounds me! |

Spacecraft Films appears to still be open for business and one of the best places for the DVD EVA footage you're searching for. |

I've often wondered why NASA-TV has never played the moonwalks (except Apollo 11) and a lot of other things in their entirety than playing the same old programing that they do, over, and over, and over again. A weekend would be a good time to do this. Most of the world's population has never seen this stuff in full. Is anyone from NASA reading this? (It's a hint.) |

I fully agree concerning NASA TV and the repetitive programing. As for Spacecraft Films, I have purchased all of the Apollo lunar landings and Apollo 9 and 10. I have also purchased Mercury, Gemini, X-15, and the first shuttle missions from Spacecraft Films and all have been on a very nice actual DVD, not a DVD-R. Mark Gray's DVDs have always been top quality. I cannot speak for those purchased outside of Spacecraft Films.
