Variety reports that Touchdown Films has signed with Banijay Rights, the international distribution arm of Banijay Group, to develop a documentary "Apollo 8: The Mission That Changed the World."
An archive documentary, directed by Touchdown founder John Osborne, "Apollo 8" relives the first ever manned mission to the moon, which captured the first color image of the Earth from space. The documentary features interviews with key people directly involved in the mission.
(Obviously, the "first color image of the Earth from space" claim is incorrect, but that may be on the part of Variety or the publicist.)

What with "First to the Moon" being premiered in November, we are getting spoilt for choice.
