A Documentary on Astronaut Program Training Launches Kickstarter Campaign

"Astronauts on the Front Porch" is an upcoming documentary film that will reveal some of the most glorious days of the American space history. The documentary film is about a special astronaut training program that took place at Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The project is currently being crowdfunded on Kickstarter and supporters from around the world can contribute in making this historic documentary film, a success.

"In the 1960s and 1970s, sixty-two U.S. astronauts trained at Morehead Planetarium during the day and enjoyed southern hospitality on the planetarium director's front porch at night,"said Michael Neece, the creator of this project and the author of the upcoming book, "Astronauts on the Front Porch," while introducing it to the Kickstarter community.

In addition, this documentary is a story of innovation, vision and ingenuity at the height of the space program. Moreover, it reveals the vital role Morehead Planetarium played in America's proudest moments, and celebrates these special people who changed the world. Furthermore, the documentary film is about the warm hospitality that they received at the town of Chapel Hill and how this small town became central to the US Space Program.

Supporters from around the world can back this project by making generous pledges and donations. The goal of this documentary film is to raise a sum of $53,000 and the filmmakers are offering several rewards with worldwide shipping to the supporters of this project.
