Springer is offering a $30 credit towards an eBook. The link/offer is all over their website. Looks like most of their space eBooks are $30 or less, making them free.I picked up Rocket Ranch for free. |

Thanks for the heads-up!The coupon is good once per Springer account, so you can get your spouses and friends to order for you too. Springer's ebooks do not have DRM, so they can be loaded onto any compatible device regardless of who orders them - unlike Kindle, Nook or iBooks purchases. Rocket Ranch and Countdown to a Moon Launch are available as both ePub (most e-readers except Kindle) and PDF format, but that may vary by title. The coupon is good until Dec. 31. |

The Springer $30 credit is available on their website again. Many very good space-related books under $30 on the site. |

Look harder. Use the search function for things like "Mercury", "Gemini", "Apollo", "NASA", "astronaut", etc. There are a lot of titles to draw the interest of space enthusiasts. Plus, Colin Burgess has a bunch of books available through Springer-Praxis that you should acquire, including his series on each individual Mercury mission (I think they are $24.99 each) and "Selecting the Mercury Seven." You're welcome, Mr. Burgess. |

I ordered mine on Dec. 19 and just received email notification they processed it today. Thank you bwhite76.On edit: It took one month to receive it in the mail. I didn't get any notification, and finally after another month picked it up from the USPS. |
