I must have listened to the BBC Radio 4 audio documentary 'Walking on The Moon,' narrated by Buzz Aldrin, over 30 times, it really is a wonderful, informative programme.

I also have a very good Radio 4 programme called 'Things We Forgot To Remember' by Michael Portillo, of all people, where he discusses how the Appllo era will be remembered (Dave Scott is one of the interviewees).

I imagine that there must be lots of similar programmes out there, please can I ask if anybody remembers, or even has, any other similar ones. Ideally Apollo but any of the space race would be tremendous. Thank you.

I had the great pleasure to work on that programme and got to write Buzz's script. On behalf of the programme's producer, thanks for the good words. I work where it was made so got pulled in to act as a kind of advisor on it.

I wonder if you were aware of the recent BBC Radio 4 programme called For All Mankind? Written and presented by Chris Riley (director of tomorrow's biopic on Neil Armstrong), it went out on 19 December. — David Woods

Silly me. I just saw that you had started a thread on the topic of Riley's radio programme.

Hi David, first of all, let me say a huge Thank you for "Walking on The Moon," it really is a piece of atmospheric radio!! If you could be so kind as to e-mail me I would really like to ask you a few questions about it. I hope you are very proud of it.

Also, thank you about the two programmes but I posted about them here and here.

I really enjoyed "For All Mankind" and am very, very excited about tomorrow!!

Dont forget of course the six LP set "To The Moon" by Time-Life. Full of interesting audio highlights of missions.
