Thanks for the link. Switzerland has recently agreed to contribute to the construction of the ESO E-ELT (European Extremely Large Telescope). |

Europe to the Stars, a long-awaited book on Europe's largest astronomical organization. I contributed to Appendix 1 (ESO telescopes 1962-2012) and can confirm is profusely illustrated with great color photos and panoramic views. The book will become available as a PDF download. | |
